In sport, from elite to youth level, there is a huge emphasis placed on the physical, technical and tactical elements of performance and the mental aspect can often be neglected. It is my belief that an integrated approach is required to enable athletes to achieve optimal levels of performance.

I have been trained to examine the psychological aspects of sport performance and their relationship with the physical, technical and tactical aspects of that particular sport, with the aim of improving individual sporting performance. My work, however, is not restricted to individual athletes. I am also passionate about working within team settings, with a focus on both the individual members and the group as a whole, as well as with coaches on a one-to-one basis to arm them with knowledge and tools to increase the effectiveness of their coaching practice.
